The W3 Dropshot 2nd Generation rods are made from a sensitive yet robust Torayca® carbon fiber stock that provides excellent feel, strong counter-attack and enough power to tire out big fish. The two-piece SKS reel seat is extremely lightweight and provides direct contact with the 1K carbon fiber reinforced stock, maximizing feel. The rod has an extra soft, firm tip for improved bait control and bite detection.

The rod's flat handle is designed to rest comfortably under the arm while fishing, improving comfort and stability. In addition, the unique hook holder makes it easy to use: when using a traditional dropshot rig, you simply slide the line into the holder and tighten - this keeps the weight in place and prevents the line from tangling during transport.
