The Orka Hybrid Shad jig series designed by Markus Huovinen (Youtube: Kalastusta Pohjois-Savosta) combines the body shape of the legendary Orka Shad jig and the V-tail of the Orka Small Fish jig. Markus developed the Hybrid Shad jig during his fishing trip by cutting off the V-tail from the Small Fish jig and gluing it to the Orka Shad body. During the first few days of fishing, the test model proved to be an extremely effective ice jig for large perch and zander. The Ruthless Ice Jig Head combined with the Hybrid Shad ice jig head, it moves like a balanc icelure and slides sideways. Imitating an injured fish irritates predatory fish to hit the jig hard!

During summer fishing, the Orka Hybrid Shad works effectively with a Slim Keeper or Stand Up jighead on days when the fish will hit a stationary jig best.
