Guideline Compline II Shooting Line is a bit more "rectangular" than its predecessor. It has the same amount of stretch as the old version and is softer to handle, especially when used for several days in a row. The new version has a slightly smaller thickness than its predecessor, so the line slides well when thrown.
Compline II at 50 lbs works well with both 9/10 and 10/11 rods. The 42 lbs version works well with 8/9 rods and can be used with up to 7/8 lines. The 35 lbs version is well suited for fishing with Switch- ja Single Hand rod. Because this line is a little more flexible, it has some advantages. It stretches the rope and removes any "folds" that can be caused by tangles.
It is kept straight in colder weather and is easy to correct.
