Daiwa 23 Ninja LT is a versatile series of reels that offers an unbeatable price-quality ratio and is now equipped with the innovative Airdrive Design technology. It is one of Daiwa's most popular reels, and with a complete overhaul it sets a new quality standard, further improving the price-performance ratio. New innovations in the main structural and mechanical parts make it lighter, more agile and more precise, giving it mechanical properties previously only found in much more expensive models.

The frame has been improved both in terms of design and material (new DS4 compound) to achieve better stiffness and lightness. The rotor and yoke are of the Airdrive type, based on the advanced Exist range. The rotor has been completely redesigned, reducing weight while increasing durability, ensuring smooth rotation while minimizing initial drag. The Airdrive bail together with Twistbuster III eliminates line tangles even with low line tension. The new ATD-L brake is even smoother and more progressive, making hooking fish safer and more efficient.

The reels in the LT (Light & Tough) concept are designed for modern anglers who use braided lines and want more power and better braking power. The physical size of these reels is smaller and lighter, while maintaining the same or even improved line volume, braking power and main gear size.
